China Airlines is Taiwan's flag carrier and operates out of Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. It was founded in 1959 and is the biggest airline in Taiwan. As well as its home base, the airline also has a hub at Kaohsiung International Airport. Focus cities for the airline are Hong Kong International Airport and Songshan Airport in Taipei. It has a fleet of more than 80 airplanes, which are a mixture of Airbus and Boeing aircraft. China Airlines offers flights to more than 100 different destinations across Asia, North America, Oceania and Europe, including regular flights to Beijing, Melbourne, Rome and Vancouver. It has been a member of the SkyTeam alliance since 2010. The airline has two subsidiary airlines, Tigerair Taiwan and Mandarin Airlines, as well as an additional cargo service. It also has a number of codeshare agreements setup with carriers including Alitalia, Vietnam Airlines, Korean Air and Delta Airlines. Economy Class: China Airlines Economy Class passenger will experience a cabin with comfortable seats that feature a pitch of 31-32 inches wide. Baggage allowanced up to 20 kg for domestic and 30 kg for international flight. Business Class (Dynasty Class): China Airlines Business Class cabin is equipped with comfortable seats that feature a pitch of 60 inch (152 cm) and a reclining angle of 150 degrees. Baggage allowanced up to 30 kg for domestic and international flight. The cabin also features adjustable armrest, adjustable reading light, bottle holder, two stowage spaces for small items, stowage spaces for shoes and a coat hook. China Airlines also provides a 15-inch personal TV featuring AVOD system, a convenient 110V outlet and USB port, slippers, pillow, duvet and also satellite telephone.
